Our purpose: 

 

By God’s enabling Spirit we seek at all times to glorify the true and living God – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit – and to help as many as possible become devoted followers of Christ.

 

Our mandate:

 

Since the church is the body of Christ on earth today (1 Corinthians 12), we still need to do what Jesus did when He walked on earth.  While our methods constantly adjust to a changing world, our mandate remains the same: know and love God (worship), love each other (fellowship), grow in Christlikeness (discipleship), serve God by serving others (ministry), and share the Good News of salvation through Christ (evangelism).
