  • Faith in Action

At Woodland Shores we encourage everyone to serve someone in the name of Christ at least once a week.

Our last “Spiritual Health Check-Up” revealed that nearly 90% of our members and friends serve Christ by serving others each week – in church ministries, and in 17 cities/towns throughout Southwest Michigan.

Woodlanders put their Faith-in-Action in many ways, including:

Active prayer network for those in need

Chaplain volunteers at area medical clinics

Complimentary meals for families in crisis

Driving passengers to medical appointments

Harbor Country Emergency Food Pantry

Hospice volunteers

“Living Free 12-Step Recovery Programs”

Monthly Benevolent Offering to assist church and

community friends

Overflow Christian Community Development Association of

Benton Harbor

Pregnancy Care Center of Niles

Re-roofing homes

Red Cross Blood Drives

Saturdays at the Benton Harbor Soup Kitchen. Bi-monthly

meals are prepared and served for 125+ guests.

Woodland’s Caring Cupboard provides free groceries

and  personal items to area residents in need.  Open two days each week.

Check out our Sunday Worship Bulletin and Weekly Prayer and Praise Report to learn about current opportunities to put your Faith-in-Action.  Then indicate your interests on a Connection Card (in Sunday bulletins), or contact the Church Office or a member of the Pastoral Staff to get started.
