Ready to move beyond the larger weekend worship setting and find a community of people to share life with and go deeper into God’s Word? Whether you are brand new to Woodland or have been here for a long time, we offer many ways for you to meet other people, get connected, and build authentic relationships – with God and others. Contact the Church Office or any of the leaders below.
Adult Bible Fellowships – ABFs meet on Sunday morning at 11:00, featuring in-depth, systematic Bible Study in a smaller setting with your peers. Contact Pastor Scott Brown: scott@wsbchurch.com
Small Group Fellowships – TLC (Tender Loving Care) groups meet in area homes – weekly, bi-monthly, or monthly – and take biblical community seriously. In addition to Bible Study and prayer, group members serve one another, may join together in a community service project, or even enjoy a meal together. Men’s Ministries. Godly men serve others in the name of Christ. At Woodland Shores we provide the resources and support necessary to equip men to develop their character and influence for Christ. Contact Pastor Scott Brown: scott@wsbchurch.com
Women’s Ministries – Women are invited to captivate their hearts with the Word of God, connect with other women, and pursue godliness, biblical womanhood, and full devotion to Christ. Current opportunities include a weekly “Beth Moore Bible Study” on Tuesday evenings, monthly “Women-in-Touch” on Thursday evenings, seasonal outreach events, “Book Club,” “Craft-a-thons,” and “Secret Sisters” for prayer. Senior Adults – As “Builders” and “Baby Boomers” mature in age, our O.W.L.S. (Older, Wiser, Loving, Seniors) are a rapidly growing segment at Woodland Shores. Weekly prayer gatherings on Thursday mornings, a Sunday Morning Adult Bible Fellowship, and fun day trips to area sites and events will help you move forward in your spiritual journey. Led by Pastor Dave Londot, Woodland’s O.W.L.S. ministry is a proven way to build relationships with other active adults, address the needs of those in later years of life, and provide options to use your gifts, abilities, and life experiences to make a unique contribution to the church and community.
